About us

On June 1st, 2020, us siblings, Hasse Östfjord and Elisabeth Noremo, took over Trollnäs. We grew up on the parental house of our mother HagGunnel, Hagans in Böle on the other side of the lake Svärdsjön, and have chosen to manage Trollnäs further within the family. The previous owners have carefully renovated the hotel and created excellent conditions for us. It is a confused time in the wake of the coronavirus, inflation and a tumultuous world, but we believe in Trollnäs and have great hope for the future for Trolläs. We have a philosophy to work locally as much as possible, with both raw materials and employees, and it's important that our beautiful little village Sjärdsjö lives on, so that more people can discover it and establish themselves here.
